soveryunofficial: Fun Fact: In English, Gaston sings about how he ate 4 dozen eggs as a child, but that now he eats 5 dozen eggs. In french, he still ate 4 dozen eggs as a child, but to make it rhyme, the new “adult count” is 49. “Quand j’était petit, j’gobais 4 douzaines d’oeufs Pour être fort, pour me sentir à l’aise Maintenant qu’je suis grand, j’en avale quarante-neuf C’est pour ça que j’suis l’roi des balèzes!” So: English : Kid : 48 eggs.  Adult : 60 eggs. French : Kid : 48 eggs.  Adult : 49 eggs. A lot less impressive. Yup, while everybody else has something to say, I’m counting how many eggs Gaston ate in different languages.
